Instituto 2 Irmaos – The favela of Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

2 Brothers is a NGO (Non-governmental organisation) that is based in the largest favela in South Amercia: Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

It helps kids through a variety of different mediums from learning English, dance, art, photography, sport and much more, in order to keep kids engaged in something productive from a young age so that they have more opportunities to fulfil their true potential as they grow older and do not abstain to the traficante route that many end up following due the conditions within which they are constrained.

It uses a wide network of volunteers from all over the world so that people can teach skills that they have in order to contribute to social inclusion and alleviate poverty.
