about us

The Kiyan Prince Foundation was founded after Kiyan, my son, was killed in a cruel, cold and senseless act of violence.   He became an innocent victim of knife crime as he peaceably tried to break up a fight outside his school involving his friend and a suspended pupil from the same school.

Kiyan was a teenager who was deeply loved and respected by his friends, teachers and coaches.   He was a laid back, kind, quietly confident, funny and talented young man.  Kiyan was a very strong talented striker who played with QPR youth team and had a promising future and he was QPR’s under 16’s top striker at the time.

Kiyan affected many lives for good in the 15 years he was here and many more lives since his tragic passing.   I wish to inspire young people and help them become aware of the consequences of knife and gun crime and violent behaviour and support them towards positive successful change in their lives.

Kiyan’s family and myself now suffer tremendous emotional and mental pain after Kiyan was cruelly taken from us and I wish to do all I can to stop other parents suffering the same way.    We do this through The Kiyan Prince Foundation by educating the youth against gang and knife culture so they can be aware of the consequences of carrying and using knives has on them and the community’s they live in.
